Friends of Aylesford Church
There are many people in Aylesford and Eccles and further afield who have a deep affection for the village church and feel a loyalty towards it. For a variety of reasons they may not attend the church but they love the building, the bells and the churchyard and value their place in the village. You may have been married here or brought your children here for baptism or relatives may be buried in our quiet churchyard or you may love the history of the place. If so, you may wish to keep this link with the church by becoming a Friend of the church.
"The Friends" organise numerous events throughout the year, from Champagne Teas in an past house, to jazz and brass concerts in church, and from Garden safaris round Aylesford, to talk on historical/local topics. Funds raised, support the fabric of the church building and the churchyard. They have made large contributions to the new Garden of Remembrance and to the Organ Appeal.
