Aylesford Choir 'on the Map!


It was with great pleasure that a number of our choir attended the RSCM Festival Evensong at Rochester Cathedral on Saturday 11th October. The weather did nothing to dampen our spirits, and we became part of the choir of around 150 drawn from across the entire region. Aylesford Church Junior Choir

The Junior Choir has been built and led over the last few years by Helen, assisted by Brenda, Tina and Lizzie. At first, the enthusiasm of the Junior Choir was somewhat restrained when it came to services, but now they are full of confidence and provide a fantastic lead week in, week out. Whilst this has been a gradual process, particular note should be made of the solo work done by "The 3 E's" - Ellie, Elouise and Emily - as part of this year's Good Friday orator...

Aylesford Community Concert | November 2012


On Saturday 10th November 2012, the church hosted a community concert. Not a fundraiser but rather an excuse to look at some of the major events of 2012. A mixture of readings from the works of local author Charles Dickens were mixed with a variety of musical times which in the main were written since 1952. All of the musical items had some relevance to the Dickens works that had been selected.
