Reopening

Having been permitted to reopen the church building for private prayer and small funerals by the government, we are delighted to announce that, starting on Wednesday 1st July, the church will be open for private prayer and reflection, twice a week - Wednesdays 9am-12pm and Saturdays 12-3pm. This arrangement will allow us to keep the 72 hour safe period between opening times. Words of Comfort

Because we're not able to make pastoral visits in the usual way, we are very concerned for those who may be unwell, lonely or fearful; those we would usually be able to visit, listen to and pray with. The lack of such contact can be very distressing, especially for people of faith. So I (Ruth) have made a short recording of prayers and words of comfort. Church leaders in Britain and Ireland have urged Christians to take part in a National Day of Prayer and Action about the coronavirus on Sunday 22nd March.
