Our Interregnum begins

Our Vicar, Jonathan Hall, has moved from Aylesford and will be officially licensed to his new parishes on the Isle of Wight on Saturday 18th August.

We are now in what is called an Interregnum, with no vicar. The appointment process for a new vicar will take some time and we don't expect to have a new one in post until 2019.

In the meantime we will continue to have our Sunday services as normal with the help of a number of visiting clergy, to whom we are very grateful.

The service pattern is as follows: -
8am – said Holy Communion
(Common Worship)
10am – First Sunday of each month is a family service often with Baptism
10am – Second, fourth and fifth Sunday is sung Holy Communion (Common Worship)
10am – Third Sunday is a flexible ‘Come and Praise’ service.
Holy Communion follows the main service on the 1st and 3rd Sunday.

On Wednesdays our recently introduced C4 service at 8.45am is discontinued (because of the interregnum) and we will revert to a weekly 10am service every Wednesday. On the first Wednesday of each month this will be a service of Holy Communion. On other Wednesdays it will be a prayer service.

We would be delighted to see you at any of our services; you really would be most welcome. If you need more information, please message us or leave a message by email or phone at the church office (aylesfordchurch@btconnect.com, 01622 719366, Open Tuesday and Thursday 9am – 2pm)
