Sunday 10am, What Next?

Above is a section of the Revelation Window in Manchester Cathedral, and this image sets the scene for our Sunday morning exploration. And here are some questions for you, if you would like to ponder the theme ... What might the colourful brick-like elements of the window symbolise? What glimpses of heaven do you see in the world around us? How do we make heaven on earth a possibility?

Being the third Sunday of the month, Sunday's service will be a Service of the Word (a less formal service) with Communion.

We will be thinking about the vision of excitement and hope that John paints in the book of Revelation - he sees all things being renewed, and a new world - heaven on earth - comes into being. God is making all things new - how are WE part of the movement to bring the future into the present? 'What next?' we may ask ourselves.

For those joining by Zoom (details below) - here is the order of service and here are the hymn words. You won't need to print/access these if you are coming to church, where they will be supplied. Here's this week's activity sheet for sharing the theme with young family members.

Following the dropping of regulations, please feel free to continue with any of the Covid procedures as you prefer (mask, sanitiser, distance etc). Please don't come to church if you have any symptoms at all. Supply of masks and sanitiser are being maintained in church for the time being.
