Loneliness and Isolation

Pastoral Telephone Contact - Even before the pandemic, loneliness and isolation was a huge problem in our society, and it is certainly a problem for some in our parish. Since March 2020 a church-based team of pastoral carers has been in touch with many local lonely and vulnerable people. If you are lonely or worried and would like to talk with someone then please call Janet 01622 710083 (Authorised Pastoral Assistant) or Ruth 07803 902319 (the Vicar). We also offer a Community Hub, a Warm Space and a Dementia Cafe in the Brassey Centre, and all these offer a warm welcome and company for all.

Sight Loss

NVISION is a free online resource dedicated to helping people live better by seeing better. Neurological disorders like Alzheimer's can negatively impact eyesight, causing many seniors to lose vision as they age. To help seniors and those caring for them, NVISION have two pages discussing Senior Vision and Alzheimer's Impact on Vision.
