We know that underpinning the life of the church and community with prayer is essential and so there are various opportunities to join in prayer for ourselves and for others. At present, we're restricted by the regulations around Covid-19, but the following opportunities remain available.
Every weekday morning via Zoom, from 8.30am-9am. We follow Common Worship Daily Prayer and allow time for sharing and prayer about any news and concerns. Everyone is welcome. Please email Aline for the link.
Wednesday Weekly Prayer
Every Wednesday evening at 7pm, via Zoom for about 45 minutes. This started when we joined in the Church of England initiative to pray for the nation, but has expanded into a chance to pray for all concerns - worldwide, national and local. We may follow this litany (but it's not essential to have a copy). Please email Ian for the link.
Church Open for Prayer & Reflection
The church building is currently open every Wednesday and Saturday (10am-3pm) for private prayer and reflection. All safety measures are in place. All welcome.
Organised by Janet Holdstock (Pastoral Assistant). Please email her if you have a need for prayer - sudden or otherwise. Your request will be shared with church members by email. If you would like to be part of this prayer network and receive prayer requests, please email Janet to be put on the distribution list.
Prayers in Church
If you have a special request for a prayer to be included in the prayers said at the Sunday church or Zoom services, please contact Janet (01622 710083 or email) during the week.
We are constantly aware of the importance of sensitivity and respect for people’s privacy and nothing will be distributed or published unless that is the clear wish of the people involved.
