A warm welcome

Welcome to St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, in the parish of Aylesford and Eccles in Kent. As a church we are a mix of friendly people from different backgrounds but united in wanting to grow in the Christian faith. We question our faith, learn from each other and enjoy being together. As a Church of England parish church we are here for everyone in the parish.

We are open for Sunday worship. You can attend in person (no 'booking' necessary) or you can join in via Zoom. The building remains open for private prayer from 10am to 3pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Services, Christenings, Weddings and Funerals

All Services, including ChristeningsWeddings and Funerals can now go ahead. Please enquire.

For many years members of St. Peter and St. Paul’s Pastoral Team have visited suffering, housebound and lonely people in our parish. The team has also conducted regular Communion or Praise Services in the community. The current Pastoral Team is quite small (6 members) and the need for pastoral care remains above our current capacity.

Would taking the love of God into the lives of lonely, elderly or suffering people, simply through your presence and your listening, be something you might consider? If so, without any obligation at all, you might like to attend this short, well tried and tested course, which will introduce some of the basic skills of pastoral care. The course will be led by Ruth and Janet.
Saturday mornings, 9.30am - 12pm
October 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th and November 13th

A service that follows on from the Giving Sunday Service on 3rd October. The chance to express gratitude for all the contributions, financial and otherwise, to support the life of the church.

General Information
A less formal, more modern service for all ages. There is no Holy Communion (sharing of the bread and wine) in this. The Community Youth Choir will sing at this service. There is a theme that relates to daily family life. The words we use are up to date and the music is a variety of modern worship songs (reflective as well as lively) and traditional hymns. Sometimes there will be talks, videos, visual aids or guided discussions, all based around exploring faith as a family (and when we say 'family' - that means God's family as well as all human families, so no need for anyone to feel left out!).
